Anthony (Tony) Eneh is the Executive Director for Africa at the Worldwide Brewing Alliance (WBA), where he leads strategic advocacy and public policy initiatives across the continent. A seasoned legal professional and policy expert, he previously served as the Executive Director of the Beer Sectoral Group (BSG) in Nigeria. In these roles, he has been a key bridge between major global brewers—such as AB InBev, Heineken, and Diageo—and regional governments, focusing on sustainable development, tax reform, and the industry’s contribution to African economies.

With over two decades of experience, Eneh’s background includes a significant 12-year tenure in senior legal roles at British American Tobacco (BAT) and the leadership of Lawbridge Advisory Ltd. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from King’s College London and is a qualified barrister and solicitor in Nigeria. His work is centered on harmonizing global brewing standards with local regulatory landscapes to promote both public health goals and long-term industrial growth.
