Marie Thiam Soumaré is a Senegalese accounting executive and dedicated Pan-African leader, widely recognized as the Continental President of the African Women’s Network of the AfCFTA (REFAZ-AWNA). Serving as the General Secretary of the Autonomous Union of Aviation Workers at ASECNA and heading the women’s empowerment division at CLDD Africa, she actively campaigns for gender integration within the African single market and a just ecological transition. Her work focuses on restructuring the informal sector to ensure sustainable economic and social inclusion for women across the continent.
