Rahel Getachew is an entrepreneur and the founder of Abrabrand, a brand marketing, commerce, and publishing agency for multicultural markets with a focus on ICT. Abrabrand specializes in country branding, product brand strategy, and user experience. With extensive national and international experience in Africa and North America, Rahel launched her business to build on her broad background in international business, public diplomacy, ICT, organizational change, and creativity. Her goal is to strengthen ties between Africa and North America and to systematically integrate the multicultural market of ideas and products into the minds of consumers and various stakeholders.

Since strategy and knowledge are essential components of brand development, she participates in various conferences, seminars, and high-level meetings on international order and security, global affairs, and emerging markets. Rahel occasionally speaks on topics such as brand development, youth and women entrepreneurship, and international trade at different institutions, including the Wilson Center, on Africa Today TV, and in the show Your Mark on the World hosted by Devin Thorpe, a Forbes contributor.

A graduate of Concordia University and certified in ICT, Rahel is multilingual and fluent in English, French, and Amharic, as well as Spanish. She has worked in Ghana, Cameroon, Benin, and Ethiopia and is a member of Top Ladies of Distinction, a humanitarian organization based in Texas with 22 chapters across the United States.
